Women’s Health

A women’s health Physiotherapist are trained to diagnose and treat musculoskeletal issues associated with pregnancy, birth, post-partum, breast feeding and menopause. They specialize in the treatment of pelvic floor muscle issues and pelvic pain. Common conditions they treat are urine leakage, going to the toilet frequently and prolapse. Here are some questions that help you decide if you need to see a women’s health physiotherapist:

DO YOU LEAK? Even a little bit?

  • Do you sometimes feel you have not completely emptied your bladder?
  • Do you have to rush to use the toilet?
  • Do you wake up twice or more during the night to go to the toilet?
  • Do you sometimes leak before you get to the toilet?
  • Do you sometimes leak when you lift something heavy, sneeze, cough or laugh?
  • Do you sometimes leak when you exercise or play sport?

You don’t have to put up with these symptoms. Did you know with the appropriate treatment this CAN be reduced or cured!!
