This role is a full time position that reports directly to Jaquie (our Director), while also working closely with our practice manager and other key members of the team

Duties and Responsibilities

  • You are a fast learner and keen to explore the Connect Therapy frameworks
  • You will learn how to assess and treat patients and work out the root cause of their problems
  • You will assess and treat a mixed patient case load including Musculo-skeletal pain, veterans, elderly, pre-employment screenings, Workcover and NDIS.
  • You will supervise classes including functional training, seniors and DVA
  • Contribute to our culture in a positive way by bringing your best self to work
  • Show resourcefulness and initiative
  • Contribute to marketing activities by helping create content and sharing ideas
  • Fully participate in meetings with your managers and the team and contribute in a positive way.

  • Work with a team of experienced Musculo-skeletal Physiotherapists with over 50 years of combined experience
  • Full training and support! Every new team member will go through a 6-week training plan to make sure you’re fully confident in your role.
  • If there’s something you’ve always wanted to learn, we will make it happen! Fortnightly training is included in this role!
  • Weekly check in’s with one of the senior Physiotherapist to assist you with your patients and update you on your progress
  • Graduated hours, to ease you into your full time role
  • Free access to Dr Alison Grimaldi’s hip academy professional development modules
  • Longer appointment times – one hour initial and 30minute follow ups.
  • A professional development allowance of $1000 to go towards external courses.
  • Work with a fantastic team of Physiotherapists, exercise physiologists and massage therapists, who are all working together to change peoples lives!

The Team

Plus, you’ll be working with our Director Jaquie, who has over 15 years’ experience as a Physiotherapist in Townsville and as an Exercise Physiologist prior to this!

The Culture

Although private practice can seem like an autonomous job, it’s not at Physionorth! We work together, inter-referring patients, having lunch together, exchanging patient stories and helping each other out. We’re a family and we’re here to support you, however we can!
