Wow what a start to the year! Physionorth sadly said good-bye to Lyndal and Shannon at the end of last year. Lyndal is travelling around Australia with her husband and Shannon has gone to work in the UK. Although we miss them greatly we have some fantastic additions to the team. Tarryn has taken over as our new practice manager and Robert and Lisa, two great physiotherapists, have started. Tarryn brings alot of energy to physionorth and is doing a great job helping Lorren, Katie and Ella keep the clinic running smoothly. Robert has a background in dance and was a part of the production ‘Chess’ at the civic theatre earlier this year. Lisa is our women’s health physiotherapist and has also started taking pilates classes.
I have just returned from a month in Perth studying a ‘Certificate in Orthopaedic Manual Therapy’ at Curtin University. I was able to learn the latest physiotherapy treatment techniques and hear speakers from all around Australia present their latest research. I enjoyed spending a whole month learning and I am excited about sharing my new knowledge with the team. I’m also happy to be home and I am enjoying catching up with everyone! Jaquie.
