All participants are required to undergo an initial  screening assessment this is a 30min consultation with one of our qualified Physiotherapist’s who run the classes,  either Brianna, Renee, Caitlin, Tim or Nicole prior to commencing classes.

This screening includes a postural assessment, your past injury history, your current fitness level, your current core strength level and any areas that need to be focused on.

Your initial assessment will also teach you how to find your neutral spine position and how to move one segment of your spine independently of other segments. This will help you keep a good posture and improve your body awareness while doing Pilates.

After you have completed a course of Pilates sessions you can book in for another screening session to monitor your progress (we recommend a reassessment every 6-8 weeks). A variety of equipment is used in the classes including a Pilates Reformer, balls, bands, Pilates rings and foam rollers.

Equipment is available to be purchased at the clinic if you’d like to continue your exercises at home.
